of Chaos

Forged in 1993 from the depths of the underground, Themalefik is not just a band — it is a philosophical manifestation spanning over three decades. Founded by vocalist and songwriter Cláudio Monteiro, the project was born with a dark and uncompromising vision of the world, channeled through a sound that merges the raw ferocity of Black Metal with the crushing weight of Death Metal.

From the beginning, Themalefik's trajectory has been marked by authenticity and a refusal to bow to dogma. The early years were a testament to their primal fury, with the release of the cassette tape Live Album (1994), a visceral record of their live energy. The demo Vergonha (1998) solidified their lyrical identity, exploring themes of corruption, hypocrisy, and social decay.

The turn of the millennium saw the band refining their dark craft. The demos Vida (2003) and Grandiose Side (2005) showcased sonic maturation, laying the foundation for their first major assault. In 2011, Themalefik unleashed their first full-length album, Your Belief — a landmark presenting the world with a fully realized vision of their art.

The band's latest studio album, Covenant of Chaos (2025), received critical acclaim with a 9.5/10 rating from Arena Heavy and a nomination for Best Album of 2025 by Roadie Crew. The upcoming album Covenant Fulfilled (2026) promises to be the devastating continuation of this sonic journey.
